- Perth Scorchers had to face disappointment as they lost their first match against Melbourne Renegades by the margin of seven wickets and are currently at the bottom of the table.
- Perth Scorchers's batting order almost collapsed in last match and no batsmen from their side could score some big runs. They scored 130 runs and were all-out in 19.1 overs. Aaron Hardie was the highest run-scorer from their side who scored 33 runs. Skipper Ashton Turner could manage to score 24 runs and Mitchell Marsh had 17 runs to his name.
