  • The Aussie continues their dominance over team India as they clinch the series 2-0 and now they are in the position to have a whitewash against India. They won the last ODI comfortably with the margin of 51 runs.
  • Both the openers David Warner and Skipper Aaron Finch have continued their good form as they both scored half-centuries and put up a partnership of 142 runs in the 2nd ODI.Steve Smith and Maxwell repeated the same performance as that of 1st ODI. S Smith scored Century in just 62 deliveries and G Maxwell scored 63* runs from 29 balls. Marnus Labuschagne also played a brilliant 70 runs from 61 balls.
  • The bowling unit of Australia also performed good in the previous match and they defended the target of 390 runs and leaked 338 runs in 50 overs.Pat Cummins was the highest wicket-taker from their side who picked up three wickets in his 10 overs bowled. Josh Hazlewood picked up two wickets in his 9 overs bowled while Adam Zampa also picked two wickets in his 10 overs bowled. They used seven bowlers in the previous match and no bowler from their side could stop the batting order of Australia from scoring the runs.Mohammed Shami, Jasprit Bumrah, and Hardik Pandya picked one wicket each while Navdeep Saini, Ravindra Jadeja, Mayank Agarwal and Yuzvendra Chahal were failed to pick any wicket.
  • Shikhar Dhawan and Mayank Agarwal once again gave a good start as they added 58 runs for the 1st wicket in just 7.4 overs, but they both got out in quick sessions.
  • Virat Kohli and Shreyas Iyer tried to build the innings in the middle overs and put up a decent partnership, but Iyer got out on 38 runs. Kohli played well, and scored 89 runs from 87 deliveries. KL Rahul also batted well and scored a 76 runs from 66 balls.
  • In the end, Ravindra Jadeja and Hardik Pandya tried to play big shots and gave the hope that India still had a chance of winning the match, but both of them got out in two balls, and the game was over for India.
  • Kuldeep Yadav might be replace Yuzevndra Chahal in the playing XI.
  • T Natarajan might get a chance to play in place of Navdeep Saini.
