• After showing dominance in the ODI series, Australia has appeared to struggle a bit in the first match of the T20I series. They were very well in the game for some time in both the innings, but in the end, they let the game slip away making some mistakes and lost the game by the margin of 11 runs. .
• Aaron Finch will usually open the batting along with Darcy Short. But if Finch is unfit, Matthew Wade is expected to move up to open alongside Darcy Short. Alex Carey will take the keeping gloves in that case and will bat in the middle order.
• The batting order is likely to remain the same with Henriques retaining his place after an impressive all-round show in the last game.
• Australia are likely to continue with two leg-spinners and give Swepson another go. Starc and Hazlewood will be the frontline fast bowlers.
• Aaron Finch suffered from a hip injury in the 1st T20I. If he is not fully fit then, Alex Carey might get a chance in the playing XI.
