• Trailblazers had a superb start to this season of the Womens T20 Challenge and had won the 1st match against Velocity with a huge margin of 9 wickets.
• Trailblazers bowling unit performance was impressive in priviouis match as they leaked 47 runs and send the all team of Velocity back to the pavilion in 15.1 overs. Sophie Ecclestone was the highest wicket-taker from their side who picked four wickets in her 3.1 overs bowled out while she was charged for just 9 runs. J Goswami and R Gayakwad picked two wickets each while Deepti Sharma had one wicket to her name.
• Trailblazers batting order also performed good in the previous match as they chased the target of 48 runs in just 7.5 overs.Deandra Dottin was the highest run scorer from their side who scored 29* runs on 28 deliveries. Richa Ghosh also scored 13* runs on 10 deliveries.Skipper Smriti Mandhana could manage to score just 6 runs in the previous match.
• Smriti Mandhana(C) and Deandra Dottin are expected to open the innings and followed by Richa Ghosh(WK) and Harleen Deol.

• Supernovas failed to have a good start to this edition of the Womens T20 Challenge and they had lost their opening match against Velocity by the margin of 5 wickets.
• Supernovas batting performance was not good in that match as they could manage to score just 126 runs. Athapaththu was the highest run-scorer from their side who scored 44 runs on 39 deliveries.Skipper Harmanpreet Kaur also scored 31 runs on 27 deliveries.
• Supernovas bowling unit failed to defend a low target of 126 runs and was charged 127 runs in 19.5 overs.Ayabonga Khaka was the highest wicket taker from their side who picked two wickets in her four overs bowled. Radha Yadav, Poonam Yadav and Shashikala Siriwardene picked one wicket each while Shakera Selman was the only bowler from their side who failed to pick any wicket in the previous match.
• Priya Punia and Chamari Athapaththu are expected to open the innings and followed by Jemimah Rodriguez and Skipper Harmanpreet Kaur.
• Shashikala Siriwardene and Taniya Bhatia(WK) will look to finish the innings in middle order.

• Smriti Mandhana : She was the second highest run-scorer in the 2019 edition of the Women’s T20 Challenge.By her standards, she had a poor World T20 campaign earlier this year and will want to get back to her best during this tournament.
• Chamari Atapattu : The Sri Lankan left-handed batter has been the most successful player for them in WT20Is. She was the first Asian woman to score a century in T20Is.
• Harmanpreet Kaur : She did not have an eventful World Cup campaign Down Under. Still, she has a ton of experience under her belt and can be backed to lead the Supernovas from the front.
